Rustix Studio Reopens: Virtual Meetings & Social Distance In The Shop

Heather and Jay are back, London! We are so excited to announce that the Rustix studio has re-opened for in-person appointments and limited walk-ins.  

During the shut-down, we were able to come up with a plan that meets provincial standards for re-opening. We modified how we receive clients in our studio so that we can meet public health guidance and occupational health and safety requirements. To make sure we can reach all Londoners, we are also using video calls to meet clients who are still self-isolating. With these new safety measures in place, the Rustix team is now ready to welcome you back into our shop!

In-Shop Consultations

Did being stuck in-doors get you thinking about your furniture? The pandemic gave many of us a bit more time to take a good look at our surroundings, and some might not exactly be thrilled with what they see. Luckily, Rustix is now taking bookings for in-studio consultations, and these design consultations are free! You can schedule a time during the week; we are open from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you are itching to get out of the house and want to see our work in-person, you can come in for weekend walk-ins! On Saturday and Sunday, stop by and take a peek at what we’ve been up to. You can ask questions, get ideas, and learn more about the Rustix furniture-making process. Walk-ins can be done on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.!

Setting Up A Virtual Meeting

As we re-open the Rustix workshop, we understand that there are many Londoners who have personal reasons for not leaving the house unless it is absolutely necessary. It’s a new reality, and even those in our line of work have to adjust to it! This is why we’re making it easier for you to sit down with us in a virtual meeting.

The pandemic has also forced many more people to become comfortable using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Skype for video calls, and that includes us! If you’d like to set up a virtual meeting, send us an email or make arrangements with us over the phone. When it comes to video calls, we will set up something that works best for your needs!
